Type the letters from your rack into the input field. The tool matches them against the dictionary for the language you picked and shows everything you can play, longest first, with the point value beside each word. If you want to hook onto a letter already on the board, use the 'starts with', 'contains' or 'ends with' filter.

Zero points. A blank can stand for any letter, but that letter does not count towards your score. Type a question mark or an asterisk where the blank goes; the point values in the results already exclude it. Because a blank still lengthens your word, it is strongest on a double or triple word square.

Put green letters in the box for the position where they were correct, and yellow letters in the box for the position where they were wrong — that tells the solver the letter is in the word and rules out that spot. Grey letters go in the field below. Letters that are also green or yellow are skipped there automatically, so words with a repeated letter are not wrongly discarded.

In a casual game with friends that is between you; in official tournaments these tools are not allowed. Most players use a helper to get unstuck, or afterwards to see what was possible — and that second habit is one of the fastest ways to improve. This site is independent of Wordfeud and Scrabble.
